Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of VenueSpree, a facility rental platform operated by ClickingSpree ("VenueSpree," "we," "us"). By creating an account, submitting a reservation request, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you're using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
1. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate, current information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Organization staff accounts are created by invitation only. If you receive administrative access you did not request, notify us immediately.
2. Bookings and organization policies
VenueSpree connects renters with facilities made available by independent Organizations (schools, cities, universities, churches, and similar entities). Each Organization sets its own rules for its facilities, including pricing, availability, cancellation windows, refund eligibility, insurance and officer requirements, and conduct expectations for its space.
A reservation request does not guarantee approval. Organizations may decline a request, cancel an approved reservation, or require additional information at their discretion, subject to their own published policies.
VenueSpree is not a party to the underlying rental agreement between you and the Organization; we provide the platform that facilitates search, requests, approvals, and payment.
3. Payment terms
Payments are processed through Stripe. By submitting payment, you authorize VenueSpree and Stripe to charge your payment method for the amount shown, including any applicable platform fee, deposit, or officer/insurance-related charges disclosed to you before you request or confirm a reservation.
Depending on the facility, payment may be due as a percentage deposit, in full upfront, or after a free hold period, as described in our payments documentation. Refunds for cancellations are governed by the applicable Organization's cancellation policy, shown on the facility listing.
VenueSpree charges a platform fee, configurable by each Organization within a 5–9% range, which may be absorbed by the Organization, passed to the renter, or split between both, as disclosed at the time of booking.
4. Prohibited uses
You agree not to:
- Provide false information in a reservation request, including headcount, to circumvent insurance or officer requirements
- Use a facility for a purpose materially different from what was disclosed in your request
- Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the Service
- Use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm any person or Organization
- Access or attempt to access another user's account or an Organization's administrative tools without authorization
- Use automated means to scrape or extract data from the Service beyond ordinary use
5. Organization responsibilities
Organizations using VenueSpree to manage and rent their facilities are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, compliance with applicable public-records, procurement, and accessibility laws, and for reviewing and approving reservation requests in a timely and non-discriminatory manner consistent with their own policies and applicable law.
6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." VenueSpree does not guarantee that facility listings are error-free, that reservations will be approved, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VenueSpree and ClickingSpree will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from a facility's condition, an Organization's decisions, or an event held at a facility booked through the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the Service will not exceed the platform fees you paid to VenueSpree in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for any account that violates these Terms, poses a security risk, or engages in fraudulent activity. Organizations may deactivate individual staff accounts at any time.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date above, and where appropriate, we'll provide additional notice before the change takes effect.
